Man left with “significant injuries” after pick-up truck leaves road and collides with tree

A NORTH Yorkshire man has been left with “significant injuries” after his truck left the road and hit a tree near Malton. The incident happened on a road known as High Street at around 6.45pm on 7.30pm on Sunday February 13. A silver Ford Ranger pick-up truck travelling towards West Lutton, from the direction of Thorpe Basset Lane, left the road and crashed into a tree.

New weather warning issued for the North East and North Yorkshire TODAY Police say the driver was left with “significant injuries” as a result of the incident. Officers are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage before or after the crash or who witnessed the crash to get in touch.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “If you were driving in the area at the time, please check your dashcam footage in case you have captured the vehicle on camera prior to the crash but may be unaware. Anyone who can assist the investigation is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for TC694 Joseph SCHRAMM. You can also email [email protected]
