Overturned P&O lorry involved in A13 crash

A P&O lorry has been pictured on its side at the scene of a crash along the A13. Essex Police were called to a two-vehicle collision involving a car and a lorry on the A13 at North Stifford. Officers were called to the London-bound carriageway shortly after 6.15am on today (March 23), with the incident causing heavy delays in the area.

Inrix reported that traffic was queuing for six miles, with debris strewn across the A13. An image captured by a driver in the area shows the lorry on its side near the hard shoulder. It is a P&O Ferries HGV and the company has been approached for comment.
