Driver attacked child, 3, as they were crossing the road with family
Police are hunting a driver who got out of his car and attacked a three-year-old child in Surrey. The infant was assaulted in Haslemere while crossing the road with their family. Surrey Police said the family was crossing High Street, towards The Swan Inn, on Monday, April 18 between 11.15am and 11.30am, when a silver Volkswagen Golf appeared to accelerate towards them. “The driver then got out of his vehicle and proceeded to shout at the family, assaulting the victim and their three-year-old child,” the force said.
The driver was a white man aged in his 40s who was 6ft in height, well-built and wearing a light-coloured top. His hair was greying and closely-shaven. : Guilfest returning after eight-year absence but it won’t be in Guildford
