It is the 12th day of action by Just Stop Oil, and it comes after they had their first day off since April 1 yesterday.

A campaign spokesperson said: “We decided to give them a break.”

It comes a day after Extinction Rebellion protesters stormed Lloyd’s of London, causing chaos in the capital.

Some 60 protesters sat outside the front-doors and on top of the London building on Lyme Street, to demand the financial giant stops insuring oil and gas projects.
