Man dies in Northamptonshire road crash after Ford Transit and truck collide
A man has died in a Northamptonshire road crash after a white Ford Transit van and a truck collided. Northamptonshire Police officers are appealing for information after the fatal crash in Bedford Road East, Yardley Hastings. The incident happened this morning (April 7) at about 5.50am when the white Ford Transit was travelling towards Bedford. It was then involved in a collision with a red DAF truck travelling in the opposite direction.

The busy road was shut earlier this morning, with Northamptonshire Police posting on Facebook: “Please can motorists avoid the Bedford Road East A428, the road is currently closed due to an ongoing police incident. Thank you.”
Yardley Hastings is located south-east of the county town of Northampton and is skirted on its south side by the main A428 road to Bedford.
