Police seek witnesses after man hurls racist abuse at BMW driver
Surrey Police have appealed to the public for help after a man reportedly made threats and hurled racist abuse at a car driver in Addlestone. The incident happened last Friday (March 25) at about 9pm in Church Road. The trouble started when the victim, who was driving a black BMW, got out of his car to speak to the driver of a grey Ford Focus that was behind him.
According to the police, the passenger of the Ford Focus then got out of his car and became verbally abusive towards the BMW driver, threatening him and using racist language. Officers are now looking to speak with any witnesses to the incident and to the passenger of the Ford Focus. He is described as being a white male in his 20s or early 30s, around 5ft 10 tall, of slim build and with short dark hair.
