Police stop truck driving with another truck strapped to back of it
A driver with a load “likely to cause danger” was stopped by Humberside police. The pick-up truck had another pick-up truck strapped to the back of it. Police dealt with the driver, who was prohibited from driving their vehicle until the truck was unloaded.
Tweeting an image of the trucks, Humber Roads Police said: “Not really a pick-up truck….more like a picked up truck. Driver dealt with for Load Likely to Cause Danger and prohibited until the truck unloaded #2358 #206.” :Police issue arrest statement as woman found dead in Liversedge house
The unusual image prompted several questions from Twitter users. One wanted to know how one truck had been loaded onto the other. Another questioned the logic of hanging a hi-vis jacket from the back of the loaded truck.
He quipped: “Hi-vis jacket makes everything ok doesn’t it?”
