Pictures of huge Warwickshire farm fire as probe continues
Specialists are continuing to investigate a huge blaze at a Warwickshire farm where a barn and several vehicles went up in flames. Crews from Shipston, Wellesbourne and Stratford and a water carrier from Kenilworth, involving a total of 16 firefighters plus an officer, responded to the inferno in Fulready, near Ettington. Around 100 tonnes of straw was alight inside a barn when crews arrived at the scene just after 1am on Monday.
The flames were said to have engulfed a tractor, a pickup truck and trailers in the vicinity. Crews managed to stop the fire from spreading to a nearby farm building. “With other barns and buildings nearby and the stack of hay on fire collapsing, crews worked hard to locate and set in to water sources to prevent the fire from spreading,” a Kenilworth Fire Station spokesperson confirmed.” READ MORE:Pensioner jailed over ‘grossly offensive’ voicemail for Warwickshire politician
