Harry said:
“It was great being able to talk to the students about what we do at Sparshatt Truck & Van Ltd. Having completed the apprenticeship course, it was a great opportunity to get young people interested in what we do and what an important sector the commercial vehicle industry is to keep our shop shelves full and our economy moving. Mercedes offer advanced vehicle safety measures with each vehicle and it was a great opportunity to share these with students and show the advanced technology that comes with a truck.”

“It’s important for young people to know about the world of work and the different options they have after leaving school. We’re proud to have been involved in Fulston Manor’s Inspiration Day to show these students what working for Sparshatt Truck & Van Ltd means.”
Mrs Susie Burden, Executive Headteacher of the Fulston Manor Academies Trust, said:
“We really are so very grateful to Sparshatt Truck and Van for attending our first ever Careers Fair.
The day was a huge success and our students were suitably impressed with the fact that Sparshatt had brought in a brand new Mercedes truck, capable of pulling 25 tonnes! They were also very excited at receiving hi-vis jackets, being able to climb into the cab and take away promotional sunglasses. A huge thank you must go to the company, and their staff, for explaining all about careers in their industry.
It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to gain greater understanding of the range of options available to them for their future.”
