Pedestrian suffers serious head injuries after collision with car in Nuneaton

A pedestrian was left with serious injuries following a collision with a car in Nuneaton. The man, who has not been identified but is aged in his 30s, is still in a hospital after the collision involving a Renault Kangoo on Thorntons Way at 5.40pm on Friday, November 4. Police and two ambulances and a critical care car from West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) responded to 999 calls.

A WMAS said: “On arrival, we discovered a man who, following treatment at the scene, was transported to University Coventry & Warwickshire Hospital with potentially serious injuries.” A Warwickshire Police spokesman added: “He remains in hospital in a stable condition.” READ MORE:‘Disgust’ as yob vandalises memorial to Nuneaton’s hero soldier

Investigations into the collision are ongoing and police would like to hear from any witnesses in the area at the time. PC Justin Don from the Warwickshire Police Roads Policing Unit said: “If you witnessed the collision, have dash cam footage or have any information that may help our investigation, please submit a report online at www.warwickshire.police.uk/report or call 101. Please quote incident 300 of 4 November 2022.”
