Recovery World adds 20 new Isuzu 7.5 tonne recovery vehicles to its rental fleet
Leading recovery bodybuilder and rental company Recovery World Ltd has added a further 20 new Isuzu 7.5 tonne recovery trucks to its nationwide rental fleet during 2022, continuing the long-term relationship between the two companies that originated back in 2001. This latest order comprises both Isuzu day and crew cab N75.190 E rigids, specified with a mix of RW35 Slidebed, Low Slider, and Twin Deck recovery bodies that will be predominantly working within the Recovery World rental fleet making either single or multi-vehicle deliveries and collections. In addition, Recovery World has also ordered its first ever Isuzu F135.240 13.5 tonne recovery truck, which will be fitted with a RW60 6 tonne steel Slidebed body, and this vehicle is due for delivery into the Recovery World fleet before the end of the year.
“With Isuzu, you always know what you will get. It’s a great recovery truck specification, the nationwide dealer network backup is there when you need it, and the ITUK customer CARE operation is absolutely outstanding, ensuring that our vehicles perform to their maximum at all times,” said Mac Engledew, director, Recovery World Ltd. Mac continues,” With over 21 years of practical experience running Isuzus in our fleet, we really do appreciate the amount of technical support that is provided by ITUK to us.
Communication at all levels is first class and we always get answers to any questions we ask. As an operator, our vehicles are running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so it is vital that we have our truck fleet operating with maximum efficiency and this is where the Isuzu trucks, with their industry-leading payload and proven reliability, totally lead the field.” Recovery World Ltd is based in Hertfordshire and is recognised as one of the UK’s main suppliers of new and used recovery vehicles.
The company runs over 150 vehicles nationally and altogether they have operated almost 300 Isuzu trucks in the 21-year relationship with Isuzu. This latest expansion of the Recovery World fleet coincides with the company’s recent acquisition of B&T Vehicle Hire in Hoddesdon, which sees the Recovery World Group increase its fleet and vehicle type offering to now include cars, vans and commercial vehicles with both dropside and box bodies. “From the very early days of ITUK here in the UK, the recovery industry has been part of the fabric and DNA of our business.
Our relationship with companies such as Recovery World has been fundamental to the success of Isuzu Truck UK in this truly demanding industry.
Naturally, we are really pleased to see the strength of this long relationship continuing today, through the latest addition of these 21 new Isuzu recovery trucks into the RW fleet,” said Lee Tansley, national fleet sales manager, Isuzu Truck (UK) Ltd.
