Where Coca Cola Christmas truck could be seen in Suffolk as 2022 tour confirmed
The Coca Cola Christmas truck will tour the UK in the lead up to Christmas, it’s been confirmed. The iconic truck, which first graced television screens with an advert in 1995, has become one of the cornerstones of Christmas around the world and there will be opportunities to see it over the next month. Every visit to the Coca-Cola Christmas truck this year will count towards supporting those experiencing food poverty, with Coca Cola partnering with FareShare – the UK’s biggest charity fighting hunger and food waste, as WalesOnline reports.
A Coca Cola spokesperson said: “For every person that attends the Coca-Cola Truck Tour, Coca-Cola Great Britain will fund the equivalent of one meal for a person in need. Kickstarting the ambition, the equivalent of 100,000 meals have already been donated to FareShare by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, with the ambition of funding the total equivalent of 200,000 meals.” It’s not yet been confirmed which towns and cities the Coca Cola truck will visit during its tour this Christmas.
The schedule is expected to be announced soon after Coca Cola’s iconic ‘Holidays are coming’ adverts appears on our screens later this month. Visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and Coca-Cola Original Taste and have them personalised with their name or short phrase. Lindsay Boswell, CEO at FareShare, said: “We’re incredibly grateful for the support from Coca-Cola. Their donation will help us get more good-to-eat surplus food to people across the UK most impacted by the cost of living crisis.
We hope as many people visit the Coca-Cola Truck Tour this Christmas so that we can get more food to people who need it during what are challenging times for many.”

You might assume that the truck’s route around the UK will probably avoid Suffolk, but the iconic vehicle has visited the county on several occasions in recent years. Most recently, in 2017, the truck made an appearance outside the Asda in Whitehouse, Ipswich. Those in west Suffolk were able to catch a glimpse of the famous red truck in 2015 when it visited Bury St Edmunds.
A decade ago, in 2012, the truck’s tour of the UK took it to Asda in Lowestoft and Cornhill in Ipswich, so it’s quite possible that your town will be chosen this Christmas! Fans have been promised the schedule for the tour will be released very soon. It will be announced via the company’s Instagram page here or via its Twitter account here.
