Corby’s favourite Deliveroo orders revealed
Deliveroo has revealed what Corby’s favourite takeaways are – with KFC and Burger both featuring in the list. The on-demand food delivery service is celebrating its second birthday in the town. Newly released data reveals that Friday at 8pm is the most popular time for locals to order Deliveroo.
Further data has shown Corby residents love American food the most, followed by Chinese. The news comes after it was revealed that shoppers can pay around a third more for -groceries on apps like Deliveroo and Uber Eats. The online firms already charges fees to deliver from stores like Sainsbury’s, Co-op and Pret A Manger.

Since its launch in the town two years ago, more than 45 restaurants have signed up to the platform. They have created work for more than 90 people, with the majority of these being riders who deliver the food.
In Corby, 60 per cent of its restaurant partners are local independent restaurants. Ben Lacy, Regional Director for the UK North, said: “Our whole team here at Deliveroo are delighted over our rapid growth in Corby over the past two years. “It means customers have more choice, restaurants are able to increase their revenue, and riders have the opportunity to choose well-paid, flexible work.”
