Bradford Council to investigate after lorry overturns and spills …

The large vehicle, which looked to be carrying waste material in a trailer on the back, flipped over on Stourton Interchange (A61), near Stourton Park & Ride, in Leeds, on Monday.

Footage seen by the T&A shows a digger clearing away the debris, as well as several workers.

Police can be seen chaperoning cars along the route and by the truck, which was blocking a junction.

A Bradford Council spokesperson said: “This was an accident and will be fully investigated but most importantly the driver only suffered minor injuries and no one else was hurt.

“We do not know the recovery or other associated costs at this time.”
