FOUND: Missing Colchester man has links to Braintree

Essex Police said at 9pm: “We are pleased to confirm that Jordan Melvin has now been found. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal.” Police have issued a public appeal for help to find a missing Colchester man.

Jordan Melvin is being sought after going missing. According to Essex Police, he was last seen in Clacton and has connections to Braintree, and also Hertfordshire. Police have asked anyone who sees him to call 999.

In a statement, Essex Police said: “Can you help us find missing man Jordan Melvin from #Colchester? He was last seen in #Clacton and has connections to #Braintree and #Hertfordshire. If you see him, please call 999, quoting inc 631 of 19 March.”

The vast majority of missing people are found or return within 24 hours (80% of missing children and 75% of missing adults).

Only a small proportion of people will be missing for more than a week.
