TRAFFIC has been stopped on the M25 following a crash involving a car and a lorry.

The incident occurred on the M25 clockwise at J1B A296 Princes Road (Dartford), according to AA Traffic News.

They are also reporting that the road is now closed and congestion is back to J30 (Lakeside / Tilbury) with this continuously building.

National Highways has also confirmed that the traffic has now currently been stopped.

A spokesman said: “Traffic is currently stopped on the A282 clockwise between J1A and J1B M25 due to a collision.

“Traffic officers are in attendance.

“There is around three miles of congestion on approach, please allow extra time for your journey.

“Thank you for your patience.”

Emergency services are reportedly on the scene too and will be contacted for comment by the Echo.
