M25 Dartford Crossing crash causing long delays over QE2 bridge …
A crash on the M25 at the Dartford Crossing caused long delays back into Essex on Wednesday, March 29. A car and a lorry reportedly were involved in a incident on the Kent side of the Thames, which led to all traffic being temporarily held while emergency services rushed to Junction 1B of the motorway.
There was heavy traffic[1] building back over the QE2 Bridge into Essex as a result, with slow moving traffic between Junction 30 (A13) and Junction 31 (Lakeside) following the accident. Traffic monitoring service Inrix first reported the incident at 3.45pm.
Emergency services, including the East of England Ambulance Service and Kent Police were contacted for further information about the incident.
