Pedestrian seriously injured in Newport crash
A pedestrian has suffered what police are calling ‘serious injuries’ following a crash in Newport.
Police and paramedics were called to Foxes Road, near Sainsbury’s supermarket, just after 4pm.
A black Seat Ibiza and a pedestrian were involved, police said.

It happened at the junction of Foxes Road and Mill Street, near the zebra crossing, as the County Press reported.
The pedestrian, a man, suffered serious injuries, according to the force.
Officers remain on scene.
Traffic is flowing in the area.
