Road closed as emergency services respond to serious crash

Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash in Merthyr Tydfil. Traffic monitoring system Inrix is reporting that a lorry has overturned on the busy road.

South Wales Police said at 10.42am on Monday morning (March 27) that the A4060 is closed in both directions between Dowlais Top and the roundabout with Bogey Road.

The statement added: "It is expected to remain closed for some time."

The incident has happened on the southbound section of the dual carriageway.
