A367 closed by overturned tipper truck in Somerset – live updates

A tipper truck has overturned on the A367 in Somerset, police have confirmed.

Drivers have been warned about the incident in Peasedown St John this morning (April 4).

Traffic monitoring organisation, Inrix, originally confirmed two incidents on the A367 at around 7.15am.

Inrix has said there is one crash northbound, at White Oxmead Lane, and the other is near Braysdown Lane, Peasedown St John.

But Avon and Somerset Policer has confirmed in a statement: “A tipper truck has overturned on the A367 Dunkerton Hill.

“The road is currently closed between the Tunley turn off and the Peasedown St John bypass. Thankfully, no serious injuries have been reported. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes.”
