B1106 crash: Two people dead after horror crash near Brandon and …
Two people have died after a crash in west Suffolk. Police were called at just before 5.40pm yesterday (Saturday, April 15), to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the B1106 near Brandon involving a Nissan Note car and a Jeep Cherokee.
Police, Suffolk Fire and Rescue and ambulance crew attended the scene. Police have this afternoon (April 16) confirmed that the driver and passenger in the Nissan, a man and a woman, sadly died at the scene. Their next of kin have been informed.
The female driver of the Cherokee car was taken to West Suffolk Hospital with a suspected broken wrist. The B1106 was closed in both directions, between the A11 Elveden Bypass Road and Green Road, until earlier this afternoon, but has now reopened.
