Bindoon collision: Driver and passenger seriously injured in Easter …
A tow truck driver and passenger have been rushed to hospital following a horrific collision with a road train on Easter Sunday.
The crash happened about 10.20am, as a Kenworth road train and a Kenworth tow truck were both travelling north on the Great Northern Highway in Bindoon.
The 28-year-old male driver of the tow truck and his 61-year-old female passenger were both injured in the collision.
It is understood that the woman was trapped in the vehicle for some time and had to be freed by firefighters.
The pair were flown to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC rescue helicopter, where they both remain in a serious but stable condition.
The driver of the road train was not injured in the crash.
