Camborne incident: Man in his 30s dies in ‘unexplained death’
A man has died following an incident in Camborne this morning (April 12). Devon and Cornwall Police officers were called to a residential road following reports of concern for the welfare of a man.
Ambulances and fire crews were also sent to the address at around 4:50am. Sadly, a male in his 30s was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The death is currently being treated as ‘unexplained’ and a number of road closures remain at the scene.
A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police were called around 4.50am today, 12 April, following concern for the welfare of a man in Basset Street, Camborne.
“The man in his 30s was pronounced deceased at the scene. The death is currently being treated as unexplained.
“Ambulance and fire services are also in attendance. A number of road closures and a scene guard remain in place at this time.”
