Child rushed to hospital after collision with car in west Hull
A child had to be taken to hospital after being injured following a collision with a car[1] in west Hull.
The youingster, thought to be eight years old, was a pedestrian on Gower Road in the Boothferry Estate when they were involved in the incident. The child was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary[2] for treatment but the injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Humberside Police[3] confirmed the incident happened at around 8pm. Officers are now appealing for any information or footage of the collision.
A spokeswoman said: “Officers were called at around 8pm on Sunday, April 9 to reports of a road traffic collision on Gower Road, Hull between a car and a pedestrian. It is reported that a car and a child were in a collision.
“The child was taken to hospital to receive medical treatment for injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
“If anyone has information about the incident, or dashcam or CCTV footage of the area around the time of the incident, you can contact us on 101, quoting log 499 of April 9.”
