Crash on the M5 near Tewkesbury leads to witness appeal

A rush-hour crash involving two lorries on the M5 has led to police calling for witnesses to come forward. The incident happened at about 7.40am on Tuesday April 18.

Officers from Gloucestershire Constabulary[1] were called to the northbound carriageway of the motorway just prior to the exit slip road at junction 9 for Tewkesbury[2] and involved a Mercedes Benz Dropside lorry and Volvo articulated lorry.

The occupants of both lorries were assessed by paramedics and sustained minor injuries.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision and hasn’t already spoken to police or who has dashcam footage they feel may be relevant.
