Dealers caught selling class A just 20 minutes after arriving in Bucks
Drug dealers Mohammad Hussain and Rizwan Adatlat found themselves in police custody less than 20 minutes after they arrived in Buckinghamshire. The pair travelled from Luton to Aylesbury in a bid to sell heroin and cocaine.
Police say the two men travelled to Buckinghamshire on March 24, 2021. They were then spotted conducting a drug deal in a car in Hampden Gardens by local officers.
They were then followed to St Anne’s Road and searched. Within the vehicle, police found 74 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin, thought to have a street value of £500.
Now 42-year-old Hussain, of Brook Street in Luton, has been sentenced to an 18-month community order and ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work. He had previously pleaded guilty to possessing class A drugs – heroin and cocaine – with intent to supply.
Meanwhile Adatlat, 34, of Cambridge Street in Luton has been jailed. He appeared before the courts on December 23 last year and was jailed for three years and nine months.
Investigating officer, PC James Gordon, of the Thames Valley Police[2] Aylesbury Stronghold Team, said: “I am pleased that the courts have handed a fitting sentence to Adatlat and Hussain, who made the decision on the 24 March 2021 to travel to Aylesbury from Luton with the intention to deal class A drugs. Within 20 minutes of being in Aylesbury, both found themselves under arrest.
“I hope this serves a clear warning to anyone who wishes to deal drugs in the Aylesbury Vale, the Aylesbury Stronghold team will work tirelessly to ensure these criminals are dealt with robustly and put them before the courts. If you have, any information related to the supply of drugs in Aylesbury then please contact us by calling 101 or making a report online.”
