Delays on A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road in Ashford after crash near …
A roadworks-hit dual carriageway is blocked following a crash involving a car and a lorry.
Drivers are facing delays on A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road in Sevington, Ashford[1], following the incident at the junction for the Finberry housing estate.
The westbound side of the carriageway has been closed as a result of the crash, which happened at about 3pm.
Kent Highways says there is queueing traffic approaching McDonald's and The Boulevard.
They have advised drivers to approach with caution.
Contractors have been in the area for months as work to replace the Orbital Park roundabout with a traffic-light controlled junction continues.
The 'Bellamy Gurner' project is due to be completed at the end of April following numerous delays[2].
Police have been contacted for comment.
