Firefighters have freed a man after a crash saw a car leave an Essex road and end up in a ditch. Emergency services were called to Hackmans Lane between Cock Clarks and Cold Norton at 9.18am on Easter Monday (April 10).
The man, who is in his 70s, was freed by fire crews – with the road closed to traffic.[1] He was handed into the care of the ambulance service.
An Essex County Fire and Rescue Service[2] spokesperson said: “On-call crews were called to a road traffic collision involving one car.
