Find out where the worst drivers in Britain are

A new map reveals where the worst drivers are across the UK – with more than one in 10 drivers in some areas carrying points on their licence.. One area of Croydon is home to more bad drivers than anywhere else in the United Kingdom.

There are 1,870 drivers with six or more points on their licence in the CR0 postcode area. That’s a higher number than anywhere else in the country.

The NW10 postcode area has the next highest number of drivers with six or more points on their licences – 1,498 That’s followed by LE03 (1,488), LE02 (1,309), SL01 (1,288), and E17 (1,281).

When it comes to the areas where cars are most likely to be driven by someone with points on their licence, four areas in Bradford, Telford and Liverpool lead the way.

More than one in every 10 drivers (11%) in the TF8, BD13, L17 and L24 postcode areas have at least three points on their licence. Meanwhile, 10% of drivers have points on their licence in another 17 areas – B96, BD11, BD12, BD14, BD15, CF03, HX02, HX03, L19, LS12, LS14, LS28, OX49, WF12, WF13, WF15, and WF16.

In the BD9, L24 and WF13 postcode areas, meanwhile, one in every 25 drivers has at least six points on their licence. In BD3, BD8, L17 and WF16 the ratio is one in every 30 drivers.
