Floral tributes left at scene of A16 crash which left two dead

Floral tributes have been left at the scene of a crash[1] in which two people died[2] on the A16. The crash, which took place between a black BMW car and grey Transit van on Monday, April 24, led to a lengthy road closure.

Emergency services were called to the scene and carried out accident investigation work – an air ambulance was called out after the collision. Two days on, floral tributes have appeared at the roadside close to where the collision took place.

One tribute reads: “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Love you always.” Several hours after the collision, a spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “Two people have died following a collision on the A16 near to North Thoresby this morning.
