Fly-tipper and bad drivers who have been up in court this week

A Derby fly-tipper has been hit in the pocket for almost £300 for dumping two bags of waste in the street. Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court[1] heard how Vasile Dobrin left the rubbish in Rutland Street, Derby, on March 9, last year. He was convicted of discarding waste without a permit and magistrates handed the 23-year-old, of Stanton Street, Derby, a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered him to pay £268.20 prosecution costs and a £22 victim surcharge.

The following offenders have also been convicted at the same court of the following offences:

Archford Gondora, 41, of Ward Street, Derby[2], was handed an 18-month community order, with 180 hours of unpaid work and was ordered to pay £50 compensation, £85 costs and a £114 victim surcharge for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour at Derby’s Midland Railway Station on February 5, 2023.

Ryan Moon, 24, of Packington Road, Hilton, was fined £307 and was ordered to pay £110 costs, a £123 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points for driving without due care and attention in Kingsway, Derby, on October 28, 2022.

Rene Curekaj, 18, of Back Sitwell Street, Derby, was fined £120 and was ordered to pay £110 costs, a £48 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for six months for driving without insurance in St James Road, Normanton, on August 25, 2022.

Shani Moore, 30, of West End Close, Alfreton[4], was fined £161 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £64 victim surcharge and had her licence endorsed with eight penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Cinder Road, Somercotes, on November 16, 2022.

Erik Sivak, 29, of Hutton Street, Derby, was fined £660 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £264 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with eight penalty points for driving without insurance in Osmaston Road, Derby, on October 20, 2022.

Jeanclaude Tshibangu, 42, of South Street, Derby, was fined £373 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £149 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with eight penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Tower Street, Allenton, on November 18, 2022.

David Watts, 49, of Prospect Drive, Matlock, was fined £266 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £106 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with five penalty points for driving without due care and attention in Lime Tree Business Park, Lime Tree Road, Matlock, on September 10, 2022.

Carlton George, 24, of Red Lion Square, Heanor, was fined £120 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £48 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with three penalty points for driving without insurance in Somercotes Hill, Somercotes, on November 18, 2022.

John Hamson, 76, of Alum Close, Derby, was fined £277 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £110 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with eight penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Keldholme Lane, Derby, on January 27, 2023.

David Jackson, 47, of The Green, Brailsford, was fined £660 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £264 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points for driving without insurance on the A515, at Buxton, on November 12, 2022.

Jit Mahal, 44, of Beeston Drive, Littleover, was fined £414 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £165 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points for driving without insurance in Burton Road, Derby, on November 27, 2022.

Usman Ali, 23, of Balfour Road, Normanton, was fined £660 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £264 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for six months for driving without insurance in Burton Road, Derby, on September 2, 2022.

David Brooks, 42, of Briar Gate, Long Eaton, was fined £660 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £66 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for six months for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Wilsthorpe Road, Long Eaton, on March 28, 2022.

Alberto Chirita, 26, of Mansfield Road, Chester Green, was fined £600 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £68 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in South Street, Ilkeston, on October 20, 2021.

Jan Gano, 25, of Princes Street, Normanton, was fined £660 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £66 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for six months for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Brian Clough Way, Derby, on September 13, 2022.

Kallum Paddon, 19, of Derby Road, Borrowash, was fined £660 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £66 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Heanor Road, Ilkeston, on October 10, 2021.

Martin Davies, 37, of Calgary Crescent, Burton, was fined £660 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £66 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Burton Road, Midway on April 11, 2022.

Austin Haywood, 22, of Bridge Street, Long Eaton, was fined £660 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £264 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Petersham Road, Long Eaton, on July 21, 2022.

Andrew Hurt, 39, of Uttoxeter New Road, Derby, was fined £660 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £66 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with eight penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Burton Road, Derby, on April 30, 2022.

Michael Walsh, 46, of St Swithins Close, Derby, was fined £660 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, a £264 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with eight penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Moore Street, Derby, on October 31, 2022.

Shaun Whyley, 37, Pine Avenue, Heanor, was fined £220 and was ordered to pay £90 costs, an £88 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with three penalty points for speeding at 58mph in a 50mph limit on the A52 Brian Clough Way, in Derby, on July 8, 2022.

Jacob Burgess, 19, of Chrysanthemum Court, Newhall, was fined £440 and was ordered to pay £620 costs, a £176 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with three penalty points for driving without a valid licence and for failing to stop for an officer in Meadow Lane, Newhall, on July 14, 2022.

Aswad Qadir, 41, of Normanton Road, Normanton, was fined £350 and was ordered to pay £620 costs, a £35 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points for driving without due care and attention and for failing to comply with a pelican crossing in Normanton Road, Norman ton, on June 15, 2021.

Kurt Sludds, 38, of Rodgers Lane, Alfreton, was fined £220 and was ordered to pay £110 costs, a £34 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with three penalty points for driving without a valid licence in Main Road, Westwood, on October 11, 2021.
