Heavy traffic as slip road onto M60 closed after lorry overturns

Traffic is building near Trafford this morning due an overturned lorry near the M60^[1].

The slip roads onto the motorway near junction eight for Carrington are currently closed off, according to traffic alert service Inrix. The closure has been in place since around 3am this morning.

Traffic currently cannot join the M60 from the roundabout at Carrington Spur. Recovery work is ongoing at the scene.

Traffic is slow on the M60 leading up to the incident. It is also slow on routes through Sale.
