Herts Police rush to Watford’s North Western Avenue after …

An incident involving a pedestrian and a car has occurred in Watford. The incident occurred today (Tuesday, April 4) just before 3pm when Herts Police were called to reports of a collision on North Western Avenue in Watford.

The incident has led to huge delays for motorists close to the Watford[1] road, as emergency services rushed to the scene. A cordon has been put in place and drivers have been advised to avoid the area where possible to avoid any disruption.

The injuries are currently unknown. However, road closures are currently in place and there is disruption to traffic in the Herts town.

A spokesperson for Herts Police[3] said: “We are currently at the scene of a collision in North Western Avenue #Watford[4] involving a car and a pedestrian. Road closures are in place and there is disruption to traffic. We advise motorists to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.”

The East of England Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
