Jewellery expert reveals hidden message behind Queen consort …
A style expert has revealed the hidden message behind the brooch Queen consort Camilla has been wearing amid royal protests. It comes after Camilla stepped out wearing a navy Fiona Clare dress that was already in her wardrobe for the Maundy Thursday Service at York Minster last week.
Maxwell Stone, who is a fine jewellery expert, explained the significance behind the royal jewel, which was previously worn by a former Queen consort. He also claimed that the brooch is thought to ‘”protect its wearer from negative energy.”
Talking to the Express.co.uk[1], Mr Stone suggested that the jewel worn by Camilla, 75, on Thursday (March 6) during the service is to send a strong hidden message to the ‘Not My King’ protesters.
Mr Stone said: “It comes as no surprise to see that Queen Camilla wore such a special brooch for the Maundy Thursday service, as it’s the first of hers and the King’s reign.
“Queen Camilla accessorised her navy dress and matching hat with the Queen Mother’s Rock Crystal Brooch.”
He continued: “Likely to have been made by Cartier, the interesting brooch features rock crystal, surrounded by an Art Deco diamond motif.”
The jewellery expert explained that rock crystal is said to represent and why it was a poignant choice for the Queen consort. He noted: “A transparent variety of quartz, rock crystal is thought to protect its wearer from negative energy. This is something that’s particularly apt at present, as the royal couple have been met by protesters at recent engagements.”
