Jewellery worth “tens of thousands of pounds” stolen from Enys House

Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police[1] are asking witnesses to come forward after a burglary at Enys House[2], near Penryn[3], in which a large amount of jewellery was taken.

According to reports, entry was gained to the property overnight between April 1 and April 2 and a large quantity of jewellery was taken[4], believed to be worth tens of thousands of pounds.

Investigating Officer, DC Hannah Milburn, said: “It’s currently not known which direction the suspect(s) travelled from or by what means and I hope that someone may have information which can assist us.

“I’m keen to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area around Enys overnight and into the early hours on Sunday 2 April and may have seen anyone acting suspiciously.

“I’d ask anyone with any relevant dashcam footage or CCTV footage in the area which may assist our enquires, to report it to us via our website.”
