A major Cambridgeshire[1] road is blocked after a lorry overturned and caught fire today (Tuesday, April 11). The A11 is closed in both directions between Abington and Balsham.
The crash was first reported at around 9.56am. Smoke is reported to be drifting across the road and traffic is queueing as a result.
Inrix, the traffic data company, said: “A11 in both directions blocked, queueing traffic due to an overturned lorry on fire and smoke blowing across the road from A1307 Cambridge Road (Four Went Ways, Abington) to Balsham Road (Balsham).”
