Live: A38 lorry fire stops traffic near Chudleigh

A lorry fire has caused traffic to stop and journeys to be delayed^[1] on the A38^[2] this afternoon (April 25).

Emergency services are said to be at the scene, which happened at around 12.48pm on the south/westbound carriageway between Haldon Forest at Kennford and Marsh Lane at Harcombe Cross, Chudleigh.

The incident has resulted in "queues" of traffic^[3] according to reports. Drivers heading into Chudleigh will likely experience delays and additional journey time as a result.

Devon and Cornwall Police has been approached for more information.
