Motorists told to avoid the area

A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: "Main road, Seaton, currently closed due to a HGV collision.

"Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes. The A596 at Flimby is also currently closed, any traffic going to Maryport is advised to go via the A594."
