Live as A52 near Skegness closed after lorry crash
A busy stretch of the A52 has been closed due to a crash involving a lorry. The A52 Wainfleet Road in Croft[1] is closed in both directions and will “remain closed for some time” according to Lincolnshire Police[2].
Lincolnshire Police said it is on scene at the road traffic[3] collision and advises people to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. Traffic monitoring system Inrix reports that there is slow traffic and the road has been closed from Church Lane (Croft) to Warth Lane (Skegness).
It is not yet known what caused the crash or if there have been any injuries. Lincolnshire Police have been contacted for more information.
