Live: M6 closed after lorry overturns and catches fire
The M6 has been closed in both directions after a lorry overturned and caught fire.
The accident happened in the roadworks area between junctions 12 (Gailey) and 13 (Stafford South) shortly before 11.40am, and the air ambulance is in attendance.
There are long delays and stationary traffic, with congestion to junction 11 at Cannock.
According to traffic monitoring service INRIX, there are also delays on the A5 towards Gailey and routes through Penkridge as traffic avoids the incident.
