Live updates: A52 closed both ways – police incident
The A52 is closed in both directions between the B6003 (Bardills Roundabout) and the A6007 (Bramcote Island) near Bramcote, Nottingham due to a police-led incident.
10:25 am Sunday 30 April- Road reopens in both directions
Location:
National Highways resources are in attendance assisting police with traffic management.
There is currently no estimated time for reopening.
Diversion Routes:
Westbound – Exit at the Bramcote Island on to the A6007 Ilkeston Road. At the junction with A6002 turn right.
Follow the A6002 north to the roundabout with the A610. Take the first exit on to the A610 and head west to J26 of the M1. Take the first exit on to the M1 southbound. Exit at J25 to re-join the A52.
Note: Route unsuitable to non-motorway vehicles.
Eastbound – Exit the A52 at M1 J25 roundabout. Join the M1 northbound. Exit the M1 at J26. At the junction roundabout take the third exit on to the A610. Head east on the A610 to the roundabout with the A6002.
Take the fourth exit from the roundabout on to the A6002 southbound. Continue to the junction with the A609. Turn left on to the A609 eastbound.
At the junction with the A6514 take the fourth exit on Middleton Boulevard. Head south on to the A52 Clifton Boulevard.
