Long delays on A13 near Dagenham as bus and car crash closing …

A crash between a coach and car has caused huge delays on the A13 today in Essex. The incident has taken place between Dagenham and Rainham and motorists have been advised to avoid the area completely.

The crash has happened between the A1306 at Goresbrook Interchange in Dagenham and Marsh Way in Rainham. There is traffic queuing for around three miles with congestion in the immediate surrounding area.

There are traffic issues before Lodge Avenue and also queuing cars along the A1306 through Dagenham as people seek alternative routes away from the scene. It is not yet known if there has been any serious injuries in relation to the crash.

Two lanes of the A13 have been closed on the eastbound carriageway with traffic queuing back for miles behind where the incident took place.

The crash happened at around 9am this morning (Saturday, April 1) and emergency service remain at the scene. It is not yet known how long the crash will take to clear or when the road will be reopened.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area completely or allow extra time when travelling near the scene.
