Man arrested after woman pushed in the street in late night assault

A MAN has been arrested after a woman was pushed in the street in Eastleigh[1].
The assault happened on Bournemouth Road at 11.45pm on Friday (April 7).
The pair were known to each other.
A 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has been bailed while enquiries continue.
A woman driving a 4×4 vehicle said she had witnessed the assault, but drove away before officers could take a statement from her.
Officers are appealing for her to get in touch.
Anyone who was in the Bournemouth Road or Leigh Road area and saw what happened, or have dash cam, CCTV, mobile phone or ring doorbell footage of the moments before, during or after the assault, is asked to call 101 quoting 44230137916.
