Man arrested on M40 for alleged dangerous and drug driving at …
A man has been arrested after allegedly driving at more than 100mph on the M40 on Monday evening (April 3). Unmarked police cars spotted the vehicle aggressively weaving between cars and reaching speeds in excess of 110 mph.
The vehicle was seen driving erratically on the M40 from junction 4 to junction 2. The car was safely stopped by TVP Roads Policing at Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire.
A stop and search of the vehicle and driver located a quantity of drugs inside the vehicle, police said. The driver was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, drug driving having failed a drug wipe and possession of the located drugs.
The driver, a 32 year old male, was arrested at the scene and has since been released on bail pending forensic results.
