Man dies from injuries after crash on M25
A man has died from his injuries following a crash on the M25[1] near Heathrow Airport[2]. The 43-year-old victim has been named as Gareth Richards, who was from Bournemouth in Dorset.
The collision, which involved two cars and a HGV between Junctions 14 and 15 (Heathrow), happened on Monday, March 27 at 11.51pm. Police, the London Ambulance Service and the air ambulance attended the scene.
Police say Mr Richards was the driver of one of the cars involved and suffered serious injuries. He was subsequently taken to hospital, where he died from his injuries on Friday (April 7) – almost two weeks after the crash.
Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating and would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage.
