Man rushed to hospital after he was found ‘lying in the road’
A man was taken to hospital[1] after he was reportedly found lying in the road during the early hours. Police[2] received a call at 2.38am on Sunday, April 16 stating that a man was lying in Dixon Street, Lincoln[3], close to the junction with Matilda Road.
Emergency services attended the incident and took the man to hospital. Officers are now appealing for more information about the man that has been described as white, around 5ft 11ins tall, with short hair and a beard, wearing jeans, black shoes and a white/cream t-shirt.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We are appealing for anyone who saw a man matching this description between 1am and 2.30am this morning, or has any information, to contact us as it may help our investigation.” Dixon Street was closed at the junction with Tritton Road for some time.
