Passengers facing delays after train breaks down at city station
Passengers are facing delays at Brighton station
Passengers are facing delays as a train has broken down.
The train broke down when departing Brighton[1] station.
“This will cause delays to some services arriving and departing from Brighton, as access to some of the platforms is blocked,” said a spokewoman for Govia Thameslink Railway, the operator in charge of Thameslink and Southern services.
“We are currently investigating the issue, and will update as soon as we have further information.”
Services will not be able to arrive or depart from platforms three, four and five until this train has moved.
Disruption is expected until 10.30am.
