Plane damaged at Sibson Airfield in Peterborough after pilot lost …

An aircraft was damaged at a Cambridgeshire airfield after veering off the runway. The plane, a Taylor Titch, was taking off from Sibson Aerodrome near Peterborough.

However, the pilot lost directional control and the plane veered off the runaway. The aircraft suffered damage to the landing gear as a result of the incident, which took place on Sunday, January 22, this year,.

An record-only report by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch, published on Thursday, April 13, said: “The pilot lost directional control during take off, the aircraft veering off the runway leading to damage to the landing gear and a propeller strike.”
