Ranskill crash live updates as fire engine and lorry involved in road …
A fire engine and lorry have been involved in a road traffic collision in north Nottinghamshire. At around 2.30pm on Wednesday, April 5, the two vehicles were involved in a collision on Station Road, Ranskill.[1][2]
No serious injuries have been reported. Both vehicles are currently in the process of being recovered and members of the public are being asked to avoid the area.
A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue[3] said: “At around 2.30pm today (Wednesday, March 5) a fire engine from Retford Fire Station was involved in a collision with a lorry on Station Road in Ranskill.
“East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) assessed all involved and there were no serious injuries. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service is currently supporting all firefighters involved and will be undertaking an investigation as standard.”
