Rush-hour crash on busy Greenock main road

POLICE were called to the scene of a two-car crash on a busy Greenock road earlier today.

Officers received a report of a collision involving two vehicles at Pottery Street on the A8 just after 8am.

Police say there were no reports of any injuries.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.15am on April 20, police were called to a report of a crash involving two vehicles on Pottery Street, Greenock.

“Officers attended and there were no reports of any injuries. The road has now reopened.”
